Cab Exterior Design

The cab has a more rounded shape, and the gaps between the upper and lower front sections have been reduced to improve aerodynamics and efficiency.
The redesign is particularly striking thanks to the headlight design, which gives the Volvo FH its distinctive look. The headlights’ bold lines accentuate the cab’s shape and extend along the sides. Even when stationary, it is clear that this truck is designed for efficiency at high speeds. The new headlights are available in three different versions. Not only do they look good, but they also come equipped with advanced features.
The Iron Mark on the front is now larger, and the door steps feature aluminum accents. Small details that make a difference.
Cab Interior Design
Better control than ever before.
As soon as you step into the Volvo FH cab, you’ll notice that the truck is different from what you’re used to—yet still feels very familiar. From the driver’s seat, everything is right where you’d expect it to be. Your hand rests naturally on the I-Shift gear lever, which is integrated into the seat.
The entire instrument panel, however, is new. It’s designed so your hands can stay on the steering wheel and you always have traffic in view. This gives you complete control over everything you need to do your job properly. The additional 9-inch display lets you control truck functions, including up to eight cameras and apps.
The new user interface includes Alexa—Amazon’s cloud-based voice service. With Alexa, you can use voice commands to make calls, listen to the news, ask for directions, access audiobooks, play your favorite songs, and check road and traffic conditions. And those are just a few examples of what you can do with Alexa. The interior surfaces and materials are high-quality, regardless of the trim level. Choose from three trim levels and a wide range of colors. You’re sure to find a style that suits you.
