The family-owned business ToJa Nutzfahrzeuge was founded on July 3, 1993, as an independent commercial vehicle repair shop. The company name is derived from the founder’s first and last names: Thomas Jakstadt.

From the very beginning, the company’s focus has been on Volvo commercial vehicles. The official partnership with Volvo and Renault Trucks was established in 1994.

Word of the company’s excellent work and quality spread quickly, and the original premises soon became too small.

In 1995, the company moved into new, larger facilities on Neukirchener Ring in Neukirchen-Vluyn to meet growing customer demand.

December 2013 was a big month for ToJa - the move to our current facility on Kamper Straße in Moers was underway. Countless hours of planning and modernization paid off, and the new workshop and warehouse facilities now feature state-of-the-art equipment and the highest quality.

We take our responsibility toward our employees very seriously, so every workstation has been equipped with ergonomic swivel chairs, height-adjustable desks, and eye-friendly monitors. For our customers’ drivers, we have set up two comfortable sleeping and rest areas as well as clean shower facilities.

In August 2016, a self-service gas station operated by tankpool24 opened on our premises, where drivers can fill up on diesel and AdBlue. To make the waiting experience even more comfortable for drivers, we’ve set up a driver’s lounge in addition to our reception area.

Our comfortable lounge furniture, a 42-inch TV, magazines, free Wi-Fi access, delicious snacks, and complimentary beverages provide the perfect conditions for drivers to start their next trip well-rested after their visit to the workshop.

Our new service partnership with trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull enables us to serve our customers even better in the trailer sector. Since March 2018, we have been an official service partner for Schmitz Cargobull refrigeration units and support our customers in the field of transport refrigeration with maintenance and repair services.
